Civic Volunteers are basically staff working under contracts with the Kolkata police and basically assist them and have the salary of roughly 12000 rs per month
The character of Sanjay Roy is questionable and falls under the radar for often being highlighted as a "womaniser" and has had 4 marriages which all of them failed due to domestic violence. It is very questionable how one individual could cause so much harm, it is believed that more individuals are definitely involved in this case other than just Sanjay Roy. The brutality of the man is showcased when after doing such a heinous crime he went on the sleep in the police Barracks unfazed by what he had done.
Sandip Ghosh who was formerly the principal of RGkar medical College has been a close ally of Trinamool congress from the starting and was rather running the college almost as his own. There are already serious cases of corruption already there on him and also has cases of domestic violence by his wife, this shows how the man actually thinks as a person and how must have treated the female students of the college. He has a long history of being backed by the West Bengal government over his often transfers starting from 2021 from CNMC to Rokar and other colleges and the most highlighted transfer that happened just after his resignation from RGkar to which he again was sent off to CNMC An example of his wrong doings was the dead bodies that came in the hospital for the training of the students came without the permission of the families of the dead body.

Di threatened to reveal this so after a lot of threatening it is believed some 18-20 people in which 5 were already present in the seminar hall ruthlessly murdered her in cold blood and Sanjay Roy who was seen roaming around the seminar hall suspiciously used as a scape goat who was brought after she had died to conduct an act of necrophilia on Dr di and on purpose left a Bluetooth earpiece so that specifically he is caught, knowing how deep Sandip Chosh, and Sanjay Roy are connected with the West Bengal government the police did what it was supposed to do and create a open and shut case.
